Cousco III (2012-09-14)

As it was Josés birthday, we stated the day with cake and a song. Afterwards we packed our stuff and left the hostel and Aguas Calientes to go back to Cousco. It was a rather quiet trip, the hike down along the train tracks took only an hour or so, we got a taxi from there straight to Santa Maria and only a few minutes later another taxi to Cousco. Machu Picchu (2012-09-13)

The day started at 4am! There are a couple of reasons for it, which are only hard to understand before you climbed it. Cousco I (2012-09-10)

On Tuesday morning we left for Cousco via bus. After unexciting 6 hours we arrived in the Loki Hostel in Cousco. It was a huge hostel close to the center with a own bar and a reputation …

Titicaca (2012-09-09)

At the airport I met José and Simona and we tried to get a Taxi to Perú. It was supposed to be cheaper than a bus and It actually is, IF you find 4 people to share a “colectivo”… after half an hour or so, the taxi driver found a Peruvian woman and we left Chile. After the usual formalities at the border, we arrived in Tacna, Perú. At the bus terminal, we realized that …
